Advancing Science Literacy at Eastie Farm

This episode is part of CASL series — highlighting the work in progress in East Boston under the CASL (Communities Advancing Science Literacy) program led by the New England Aquarium.

As part of CASL (Communities Advancing Science Literacy, a New England Aquarium program conducted in collaboration with East Boston community organizations Eastie Farm, Zumix, Harborkeepers, and Piers Park Sailing Center), Earth Sciences Teacher Molly Niedbala has been engaging with a group of teenagers (working at Eastie Farm during Summer 2019) over a 6 week period to assess their knowledge of climate science and options for community-scale solutions provide education through discussions and practical demonstrations at the farm test their learning at the end of Summer
